Translator, language coach, passionate about foreign languages
I am a state-certified translator and language coach.
On the one hand, I take care of professional translations. I am able to translate several types of texts using 3 working languages: French and Italian, which are my two mother tongues, but also English.
On the other hand, I also support clients in their language learning journey. From beginners to intermediates to advanced, I am able to provide tailor-made language coaching.
What is my background?
From a very young age, I have been lucky enough to be bilingual. I speak French and Italian fluently thanks to my father and his family. I have therefore been immersed in two different cultures since my birth and, over the years, a real passion for foreign languages was born.
From college, my strong point was languages and this led me to strengthen this ability in high school, where I obtained my Literary Baccalaureate with honors.
After the Baccalaureate, I decided to undertake the course of the LEA English-Italian License (this is the License in Applied Foreign Languages), in Montpellier.
During my 3rd year of license, I wanted to live a new adventure, while returning more deeply to my native Italian origins. So I left as an Erasmus student in Como, Italy , this country where I spent a few years in my childhood.
My love for Italy took a very big place in my heart and I wanted to continue my path and achieve a new goal: having a master's degree in what I liked.
It was then that I registered for the Master in Translation in Milan, in 2019, which I obtained in October 2021 with honors and which I specialized in Professional Translation during the 2nd year.
These two years of Master have been very intense due to the pandemic, which has turned our lives upside down.
In 2019, alongside university classes, I decided to mainly teach French online to people from all over the world, but also to support people wishing to learn Italian or wishing to improve their English. I haven't stopped since.
At the end of this journey, my degree in translation and the various events, I understood that this was what I wanted to do.
Translation and teaching are for me the perfect combination.
How do I work?
Humanly speaking, I am a very sensitive person and attentive to my neighbour.
This is also what makes my clients appreciate me a lot and why nice links are created each time.
In terms of my professional functioning, I have always been very involved in my work. I am very conscientious, very organized but above all very respectful towards others.
This leads me to put heart and soul into my work, whether at the coaching level, as well as my translations.
A traveler at heart, I am passionate about teaching and translating because it gives me the impression of discovering a new culture each time.
